Honors Program
At the end of the last semester of their senior year, only those students who have completed all graduation requirements may participate in the graduation ceremony. To graduate with honors, a student must earn 25 units of credit, graduate with a 3.5 GPA (weighted) and 50 Community Service hours. One unit of credit is earned for passing a course that meets for two semesters. Successful completion of a course that meets for only one semester earns one-half unit of credit. In order to graduate with honors, students must complete the following in addition to their basic graduation requirements:
*Graduating with Honors and participating in the Honors Progam is different than the National Honors Society (NHS) and community service hours for both do not overlap.
