Honors Program
Effective with the class of 2027
Class of 2023,24,25,26 will follow previous guidelines mentioned in the Course Guide Book
At the end of the last semester of their senior year, only those students who have completed all graduation requirements may participate in the graduation ceremony. To graduate with honors, a student must earn 25 units of credit, graduate with at least a 3.5 GPA (weighted) and complete guidelines listed below. One unit of credit is earned for passing a course that meets for two semesters. Successful completion of a course that meets for only one semester earns one-half unit of credit. Specific requirements are listed below:

* In order for a student to be placed into core honors classes, the student must have a miminum of 85% in the class. | ||
* In order for a student to remain in the core honors class, the student must obtain a minimum 80% or have a teacher reccomendation. | ||
* If a student cannot maintain the requirments after being inside of the core honors class, they will not be allowed to join in following years. | ||

*Graduating with Honors and participating in the Honors Progam is different than the National Honors Society (NHS)
